Ciaran P Cassidy
Ciaran P Cassidy is a native of Ireland who emigrated to the U.S. in 1981. Originally a student of Environmental Science, he soon realized his passion was painting and applying decorative finishes. Ciaran studied under Ina Brosseau at The Finishing School, Inc., located in Floral Park, NY where he mastered the techniques of wood graining, marbling, gilding, and fresco finishes. In 2012 Ciaran became a certified painter with Fine Paints of Europe and in 2021 was certified to apply Vero Metal. Ciaran has been in the painting industry for over 35 years. Prior to co-founding NYC Fine Finishes in 2018, he was the owner of Cassidy Decorating, Inc.
Peter (Jody) Finglas
Peter (Jody) Finglas, also a native of Ireland, moved to the U.S in 1990. He began his career as an apprentice with Duff Brothers and Meeghan Painting in New York and has been in the painting industry for over 25 years. Prior to co-founding NYC Fine Finishes, he owned Finglas Painting, Inc.
